Hail and greetings!  This is the personal website of Tony G. AKA ttiger. Welcome to my corner of the Net!  I hope that you will enjoy your visit to my site.  It is here for a variety of reasons.  I hope some of you will be interested in learning more about me than you can get from the limited space of a Yahoo or AOL profile.  It is also a forum for me to post my writing.  Writing is something that I've always enjoyed, but, it isn't of much value if it isn't available for others to read.  I also want to make this somewhat of a zine by including the writings of others that do a better job of saying things than I am able.  There is other information here that I have found useful or interesting and I hope others will too.  Lastly, and perhaps not least, web design and especially programming is a hobby of mine that I wouldn't mind turning into a money making proposition.  I have already done some programming on my company's Intranet, but, this is a great learning experience.

This is a dynamic site which means that it will look different depending on who is viewing it and what is known about the viewer.  Given that I'm doing this in my spare time this type of web design strategy can take a while to develop, but I hope that it is worth it.  I like the idea of giving each visitor his or her own unique experience.  So far I have focused on creating the basic programming to allow for that personalized experience.  The next step is to get more content online.  I'm getting there, but, I'd still like a bit more substance.  Once I have a good base of content I intend to go back and do the programming and design work that will make the site more visually interesting.  So, I hope that you will check back fairly often to see what is new here.
